The role forms part of a production team with the purpose and objective of the role to operate all parts of the relevant departments (Roast/Leach/Electrolysis/Casting) and plant /equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve production targets while developing strong working relationships with operations and maintenance personnel.
Job roll is to assist with:
- Ensure all equipment faults are reported promptly
- Equipment pre-start and run sheets are completed as required
- Operate plant within procedures
- Operation of the Plant
- Cleaning and maintenance of specialist PPE and equipment
- Maintain effective use of the plant/equipment to ensure production rates/targets are met
- Carrying out area audits
- Participate in daily pre-start meetings
