After Austal Ships closed their doors, it seemed as though the employment boat had sailed for these 5 apprentices. In an effort to avoid unemployment, one apprentice made contact with tastec group training. Having met with each apprentice individually and in an effort to help each one meet mortgage repayments and other financial commitments, Simone Gearman, our Field Consultant, was able to find suitable placements across various host employers for each apprentice.
