Some of our previous projects include:

WinIT (Women in Information Technology)
The WinIT program was launched by 370° group (formerly known as VICTEC) in January 2001. The project aimed to increase the participation of women into IT, with a specific focus on the higher end, more technical aspects of information technology. WinIT, Women in Information Technology, was a traineeship program of up to 18 months offered only to women. Funded as a pilot program by the Victorian State Government Department of Education, Training and Employment ,WinIT provided a holistic approach to traineeships which included comprehensive pre-vocational training, job placement and mentoring throughout the traineeship.
VICTEC is committed to promoting the participation of women in non-traditional occupations, which includes the Information Technology industry

LogIn was an innovative Information Technology traineeship program tailored to meet the needs of the IT industry. VICTEC developed the program with support from the Department of Education, Science and Training, to help address the IT skills gap experienced by industry across Victoria.
Developed in conjunction with Registered Training Organisations, the course curriculum was specifically designed to provide the skills and hands on experience that make a difference in this highly competitive job market.
Partners at Work
To address the challenges faced by group training apprentices, the VICTEC Apprentice Committee was formed to include VICTEC apprentices, VICTEC Senior Management and industry representatives. The Committee enabled greater participation by apprentices in the decision making process and promoted communication between apprentices and management. The project commenced in 2004 and was funded by Industrial Relations Victoria.
LearnScope
In 2003 VICTEC received funding from the Australian Flexible Learning Framework to implement e-learning within the organisation. The VICTEC Skills Centre LearnScope project provided staff with the professional development necessary to create and deliver flexible learning.
This is the first step in implementing VICTEC’s long term strategy of providing students with blended learning options.
