Program Context
370˚ traineeships are offering a Business Administration ASbA program for secondary school students. ASbA’s are employed by 370˚ traineeships for a period of 12 months and leased to a host employer within the industry for their on-the-job experience. To fulfil the requirements of the ASbA students are required to complete 1 day per week with the host employer & structured training in the school holidays. These hours are part of their school timetable and can be averaged over the term of the contract.
Upon successful completion of training with the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and completion of the on-the-job employment, ASbA’s will be issued with a Certificate III in Business Administration, as well as having 12 months hands-on experience in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role will be dependent on the nature of the host employer’s business and may include the following:
- Assisting with administration duties:
- filing
- data entry
- resource maintenance
- answering phone queries and directing calls
- customer/client follow-up
Important information about the program:
- Candidates will be contacted for interview
- ASbA's will be placed with businesses based in the CBD or metropolitan areas
- ASbA's MUST work 1 day per week
- ASbA's are required to attend compulsory workshops during school holidays
- Workshops will be held at the Registered Training Organisation
