Australian School-based Apprenticeships
If you are interested in a learn+earn 1 day a week opportunity and can say yes to the below...
  • 15 years old or over and completing your Secondary School Qualification (VCE or VCAL)
  • Looking for a head start within an industry by gaining a Certificate III
  • Would like an injection into your enter score (please talk to your careers advisor for further details)
...then an Australian School-based Apprenticeship (ASbA) maybe for you!
Australian School-based Apprenticeships are a combination of a secondary school qualification, part time paid employment in your chosen industry to gain a nationally recoginsed qualification.

We offer the following Australian School-based Apprenticeship programs: 
information technology
The role of the IT ASbA is to work with a host employer in the industry in a supporting role, i.e. Networking, User, Client Support, Technician, Helpdesk.
 


sport & recreation
The role of the Sport & Recreation ASbA is to work with a local primary school to provide support to the PE department and assist the greater school community. 
 



business administration
The role of the Business Administration ASbA is to work within a company who require administration assistance.
 
 
 
children's services
The role of the Children's Services ASbA is to provide care/supervision to children, assist with planning activities, first aid and interact effectively with children.
